Our most compact Unity power factor UPS (1kVA=1kW) is now available with Lithium-ion batteries!

Benefits include 8-10 years battery design life (compared to the usual 3-5 years with VRLA batteries), increased runtimes at all loads, reduced weight and size (EBM is only 1U), and 5-year warranty. As with the VRLA version, this Lithium-ion UPS offers advanced online protection and is perfect for small & medium Data Centres, IT, networking, storage and Telecom.

Energy Star qualified, the 9PX Lithium-ion provides the highest efficiency level to reduce energy and cooling costs. Its internal bypass allows service continuity in case of internal fault, a maintenance bypass switch is also available for easy replacement of the UPS.

The UPS is available in power ratings ranging from 1.5kVA to 3 kVA, with low and high voltage options and offers up to four optional external battery modules for additional runtime.

The Eaton Gigabit network management card provides dual cyber security certifications (UL 2900-1 & IEC 62443-4-2) and is delivered as standard with the Netpack UPS variant.

• Battery lifespan: A 9PX UPS with VRLA (lead-acid batteries) has an average lifespan of 3-5 years, the 9PX lithium-ion battery can last up to 8-10 years, reducing total cost of ownership.
• Increased runtimes: The Lithium-ion 9PX offers up to 100% more runtime than the VRLA variant when loaded at more than 50%.
• Warranty: This longer life UPS is backed by a five-year factory warranty including UPS electronics, internal batteries and EBMs.
• Lighter weight: The UPS weight is reduced by up to 20%, the EBM weight is reduced by more than 40%.
• Smaller size: The Battery extension module has been reduced to just 1U, saving valuable space for IT equipment.
• Easy installation: All models are delivered with the necessary hardware for tower or rack-mounting.
