UPS Systems for Education
We support some of the country’s most respected universities, colleges and schools. As a trusted partner, our role is to make managing their critical power systems easier.
Sectors
A common challenge in the education sector is managing UPS systems from multiple manufacturers. Standardising on a single brand provides product familiarity and allows all systems to be managed conveniently through one network. Our complimentary Asset Management service takes care of UPS servicing schedules, warranties and replacement planning, freeing your time to focus on other priorities.
We have over 100 UPS’s installed in our campus across a variety of makes and models. Until NSSE took over this contract our UPS management and maintenance was in a total state of disarray.
NSSE have played a critical role in turning this around for us. We now have a clear understanding of the status of all our UPS’s through NSSE’s Asset Management service and rely on them to continue to provide expert advice and solutions whenever needed.
NSSE have proven themselves time and time again in coming to our rescue when we have had equipment failures. All of these have been dealt with in a timely manner and without fuss.
Our UPS system requirements were varied and NSSE confirmed our calculations, suggested specification improvements and delivered the systems promptly - we're totally delighted and now always look to NSSE as our preferred provider of power protection solutions.
NSSE have been a trusted partner to the University for a number of years. They are a very technical and competent team and have always been a great help in all aspects of the Universities power protection requirements over the years.
An extended planned utility company outage meant that the University had to accelerate plans for a stand-by power system for its lights out data centre at its Harrow campus. NSSE presented a competitively priced solution, and were able to work with us to install a generator in record time, and without interruption to the University's IT service. As the campus redevelopment programme continues, we have had several planned power outages which have always gone smoothly. It is a pleasure to work with NSSE, and I look forward to our continuing relationship.
